WINNIPEG – Winnipeg’s new-look police cruisers have been recognized by a national law enforcement publication. Blue Line magazine named the local cruisers ‘Canada’s Best Dressed Police Car’ for 2011, choosing the winning ride on the merits of readability, creativity, visibility and community identity. Winnipeg’s basic black and white design, a growing retro trend in the law enforcement business across the country, also helped separate Winnipeg’s police cars from other jurisdictions in Canada.
