
Hospital design wins excellence award

The design for the new Women’s Hospital at the Health Sciences Centre has been singled out by Canadian Architect magazine. Smith Carter Architects and Engineers said that its design for the Women and New Born Hospital received the award of excellence from Canadian Architect magazine. The winning design and members of the Smith Carter design team will talk to the media this afternoon. The Smith Carter design was chosen from among 144 design entries from across the country.
